Hi, a new member and a first time user here!

So... WHATS UP?

I have a few questions that I hope you can answer so I'll just bring 'em on!

First... are any of these cars good?

Esperante GTR-1
Shelby Cobra
Any of the RUF's
Zonda C12 / Zonda S
The Aston martin cars
Jaguar XJ220 Road car (God It's a Beautiful car!!)
TVR tuscan speed 6
TVR speed 12

What I'm asking for is mainly: are they fast, can they turn, are they good enough to win races and are they any good!

What i'm most exited for are the Zonda, TVR and the Jaguar XJ220. they just look plain Awesome!

And what are the fastest cars in the game (tuned/untuned) and what cars handle the best? you know... like a top 5 list...

I know that i'ts alot of cars but... mabye you can answer some of them.

mabye this has been done before in an earlier post I actually dont have much time right now... so... bare with me

The Zondas are good. DONT BUY XJ220 or ESPERANTE GTR-1, both of these cars handle crappy, and dont drive that fast. Aston Martin Vanquish is 1 of my favorite cars, though the other Astons are useless. Speed 12 is alright. Speed 6 I very hate. If you want some good cars here they are: (F1 cars not included)
Toyota GT1 Road Car+Race Car, Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car+Race Car, Zonda Race Car, 787B, even though you have to win all of these. Good cars to buy are Nissan Skyline R34 V-specII, Viper GTS, Lancer VI GSR, and then upgrade them all the way.

Race as much as you can and get every car.....almost all of the higher end cars are good except (dumb Jag) learn how to tune your car not just add HP and Torque.

GT Spiff is right if you want the best acceleration, top speed, and handling, then you have to tune it. That's what I do neways.

Supra897. Yeah I have the Lancer VI GSR at 568 HP and can do about 345 KPH (not sure about the miles) good acceleration, 11.049 sec. on 0-400 and 19.735sec. on 0-1000. I dont really have another car to compare with but I beat the amateur turbo race at the test course easily and ger 15,000 for every time...does WONDERS!!

the best handling cars are definatly the f1 cars

i won the f687/s from the seattle endurance race and i used it in the superspeedway endurance and it does 208 on the large turn and about 180 on the smaller turn

The Zonda is a pretty bad arse car and looks really fat too.  There are sooooo many cars that are all good, great, even fabulous.  Where to begin......Oh that's right you only listed a couple of cars.

Are you looking to invest in one of these cars?  Contimplating the idea of going around the Test Course for 15k a pop to same up 500k to buy a awesome car?

All the cars you listed can be won, you don't have to buy them.  I have over 20 million cr. worth of cars in my garage and have spent over the course probably only 200K on cars.

Later,

BDR

  I was wondering who the idiot was.  That's funny.  lol  BTW, you don't talk on the BB while at work do you?  Ah ethics today..... (I'm at work to, but I'm the boss so my ethics are in check.  :)

Ok Thanx for all the replies...

well all these cars can be won... thats good but where should I begin? I'm just 13.1% complete and with a ib and rally license.   Races I have won are:Beginner::  Sunday Cup (go figure), Clubman cup, 4WD challenge, Turbo, Evolution meeting.  Amature:: Turbo and a few gold in other races(not complete).

I have a pretty kick ass Lancer Evolution VI GSR with 565 horses and will squeeze out 220 MPH maxed out.
I won most the races (that the car can compete in) with that car.

So with that little bit of information, HELP ME!

what race to do next, what car to buy or win and so on...

I bought an American Integra Type R and Won the Stars and Stripes, FF and Type R series with it.  Type R series, easy 42,000.

With the Camaro from the Stars and Stripes I won the FR, NA, and Stars and Stripes in the Amateur.

Seemed to work well for me, although I had to put a lot of $ into the Camaro for lightening, Stage $ Tune up, and Med-Soft tires.

Your EvoVI would do good in the Rally series if you have the R license. You'll get a mess of rally cars (careful if you're selling them, you can't win them all again!) and the Suzuki Escudo at the end, everybody's most loved/hated car in the game.

Quote: from The1one1 on 12:18 am on Aug. 7, 2001[br]I didn't even know that I could use a non'rally car in a rally race... it's deffinetaly worth the try!
I think you have to put rally tyres on though

You might try softening the suspension a bit to keep the tires on the dirt. Make sure you haven't lowered the car too much. You can tighten the gear ratios because acceleration is usually more important than top speed on the rallies. If you're still hitting the rev limiter, just widen you last gear. And if you've lightened your car all the way, you may find it jumps a lot! And never, EVER run with scissors in your hand.
