A Funny (Sad) ending at the 'Burg'

I'm racing at the Burg with my F1 in the Formula GT race, and I've made a few mistakes along the way, but I'm on my way to getting this race back in hand. I've passed the other 4 cars to get back into second place, it's taken a long while to do so, but I'm almost up to the lead car.

We come down the long straight heading to the finish line, I catch him under braking on the left hand kink before the Right/Left chicane (where the pit entrane is). I get my myself just ahead of him going into the chicane, then Blamo!

I'm rolling into the pits, underspeed reduction ...ouch! I'm done for with only 2 laps to go.

I watched the replay and the AI car just nailed me enough going int that turn (slowed too early I guess) bounced off the Armco, shot me right across the course into the pit entrance...I guess he thought he was playing pool! If so, it was a great bank shot.

Anyway...I'm sure we've all got some funny (if not sad) things like this during a race...love to hear them.

Moloch...sorry for not getting back to this sooner..very good catch!👍 My error. they do pit every two laps with our version as well, so this had to be the "through" lap, since i wrote from memory (which is questionable at best) I goofed!

Regardless, the post had to do with funny things like the bumper shot into the pits...and other experiences like like that while racing. I was not laughing when it happened but, it's kinda funny now.

Normally, the AI in the game tries to play "clean"... and when they do get rough and dirty, no matter how pissed you might get... I always stop and laugh, just because it's so rediculous.

Granted, most of them hitting me is due to me getting back on the track after overshooting a turn... D'oh!
