A good .jpeg/.png to .ico converter

I'm using Imagicon at the moment, but every time I'm converting an image with a transparent background, the background gets messed after converting.


Are there any other converters out there that keep the transparency in a background? There is an option in Imagicon to preserve transparency, but it does not seem to work...

You should not use jpeg's as they don't have good support of transparent backgrounds. Here is an example of a ico conversion in Gimp from the png you provided:

It is slightly jaggy but it keeps the transparency.
