Things I'm looking for:

Under $80

Force Feedback

PS3/PC compatible

Some sort of compact folding table/stand for it (preferably low price)
I'm going to sit on my bed and play. It is 1 and 3/4 feet high, so I need a stand/table about 2 and 1/2 feet high. I need it to be able to fold up and be put away. Again looking for something cheap here!

I wanted a Logitech wheel, but they're all priced way too high for my parents to get for me.

DFGT is the cheapest wheel I would recommend. Anything cheaper is normally crappy quality.

Yeah, you can sometimes get a refurbished DFGT on eBay for less than $80.
In fact, they've got a bunch for sale right now for under $80. That's where I got the one I'm using now. I found one for $66 with free shipping a few months ago, and still works like new 👍 The DFGT is a great wheel--it's every bit as good as a G25/G27 or Fanatec in terms of how it performs in the game.

Yeah, it was refurbished. And that was back last fall/early winter. I'd look for one from a seller with a lot of positive feedback ratings, and try to find either a refurbished one, or one that is described as "like new" or "lightly used" from a highly rated seller 👍

Please bear in mind that unless you can improvise with materials such as wood or metals, you're unlikely to get a stand effective enough with your remaining $14. I would suggest considering this before even buying the wheel, as using it on your lap will be quite difficult, though amusing to watch!

Many people, including myself, found this out the hard way and either had invest more money, or sell the wheel as it was likely to get no use! For the record, I eventually picked up a Wheel Stand Pro, although they're not cheap!

Logitec actually recommends the Momo, more then the DFGT + it is cheaper.

I had a tendency for DFGT too, some of the faster drivers on this site use it.

I bought a $50 buck wheel in the past. It broke within 2 days!

Save your money and get a logitech, you'll be glad you did!

And besides, you probably have months to save before GT5 arrives!
