A.I. (Computer Controlled Cars) Wheel Codes?!

This is my very first post in GTPlanet (and I'm feeling excited!) and even today I still LOVE Gran Turismo 2 (1.2 version) because it has soooo many cars--it's not even an exaggeration.

I personally am a fan of Initial D (so bear with me) and I searched (and found) the Autopilot code :D. Now I'm trying to drift all my cars (with autopilot on, the only way I know is to add simulation rear tyres to the default normal tyres--so I will have normal front and sims rear) and I'm actually doing well... EXCEPT that the A.I. enemies always screw up my drifts... :banghead: To get them to play the drifting game with me (and to see awesome tandem drifts), I propose the idea of changing the enemy tyres :gtpflag:.

I would like to know how to change the enemies' tyres into:

Front:
  1. Simulation
  2. Normal
  3. Sports
  4. Hard
  5. Medium
  6. Soft
  7. Supersoft
  8. Dirt
Rear:
  1. Simulation
  2. Normal
  3. Sports
  4. Hard
  5. Medium
  6. Soft
  7. Supersoft
  8. Dirt
And what Autopilot code is the best? the 0001 code just chickens out when following a car around a corner that's why it either spins out or gets hit from behind by a following car and then spin-out. The FFFF code, however, slows down slightly to match the pace of the car before it and inches forward until it gently pushes the front car. The 0002 code is like a drunk driver... The 0003 (or was it 0004?) controls the car to send it to the pits. I haven't tested the rest of the codes :dunce:.

Also, and because I'm a fan of Initial D, I've been challenging myself by using only the default settings parts (not-ever fine tuning them, ever! Except for the Active Yaw Control--which is only either Full 101 or not use the AYC at all) to get the fastest 2nd lap in specific courses (I'm still working on Tahiti Road with both Impreza and Lan Evo).
  • I'm using simulation rear tyres with my normal front tyres to create the situation that sometimes the roads are wet and it makes the tyres even more slippery, hence more sideways action!
  • I don't fine tune my cars because Project D only has 24 hours to practice and change settings according to their strategy and that's what I want to simulate :P
  • I'm obviously playing Ryosuke  because I don't drive, I let the Autopilot code drive XD

In what order should I rough-tune the drift cars to get the shortest 2nd lap time? Do I raise the horsepower before changing the rest? Btw, As of late I do Simulation Rear Tyres-Suspension-Brakes-Differential-Gear Ratio-Clutch-Driveshaft-Flywheel-ECU-Mufflers-Turbo... I know it's not being very efficient
