Before this is discounted as a spam, I would like you to read this, I have been a member of GTPlanet for over two-years now, I haven't been on in awhile because of day-to-day tasks and my own availability.
Both my parents run small business in my town. Both businesses directly benefit the residents of a large area surrounding my town. Both businesses have come along hard times. My dad's business is struggling to take-off, and my mother is constantly faced with rising rent costs and household emergencies. Both of my parents are accomplished professionals within their respective fields and have 25+ years of experience within their fields.
As a family, we all value charity and love to donate whenever humanly possible, but without a steady stream of consistent money, just living from day to day can be a challenge. Whenever we have a chance, we love to donate to veterans organizations and donate, small clothes to charitable organizations. My mom decided that the businesses needed to grow, not just for our family, but for the families the business serves and the town in which it is located.
As a result, my mom has set-up a fundraiser on gofundme.com in order to try to grow both businesses and the community.

"Thank you for considering this somewhat large and multi-purpose campaign. There are three aspects to meet.
The first is to find, buy and renovate one of the wonderful, smaller, old houses that are available in the historic area of my town. Many have fallen into disrepair and are awaiting their "nexts."
Once restored, the beautiful new building will have two purposes.
Purpose one is a fully functioning catering kitchen from which my husband will run his business- a personal chef service that comes into your home and cooks restaurant quality food for you to enjoy. You can have that romantic dinner for two where you propose to your one-and-only. You can buy a "new parents" package and have two weeks of prepared meals delivered by you or by Chef to the new and highly sleep deprived parents. You can have a "hand's on" dinner party where the ladies go shopping and the guys cook them a wonderful 3 -5 course meal! Chef has 25+ years of experience and would love to provide you with this renewal of body!
And, lastly, the majority of the building will be for healing practices. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience treating a variety of issues including sexual trauma recovery and substance abuse/addiction issues. Other healers would have the opportunity to rent offices in this beautifully restored building. These may be other therapists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, art therapists, movement therapists, etc. This aspect is the renewal of the mind/spirit.
