A little Help

reduce the amount of points and curves used. There are some curves that are not needed, for example some outlines, which can just act as a background with things on top of it, instead of outlined.

Thanks for the advice, do you recommend a specific program to do so?

I gave this a go earlier for you actually, but it was way beyond my skill levels too.

Don't be too intimated by it. A few youtube tutorials will get you the basics very quick. And for all we do here, the basics are mostly enough.

I've just loaded it into Inkscape and had a proper look at it.
There are tons of nodes you can get rid of yet, especially around the edge of the yellow.
Also, when selecting different objects I noticed there are tons.
For example, the yellow on the wings are two seperate objects, if you select them both and then use Union to join them together you can then reduce how many nodes here are by quite a lot.
The black feathers on the wings are also all seperate too.
I don't have the time to do it all at the moment but you will definitely be able to reduce it a lot further yet.
Also, loading it into the link I gave above instantly dropped it to 25k

Will have another go at inkscape during the weekend, thanks for the advice. For now I think I'll split the picture into four parts and then assemble them on the livery editor. Should do the trick.

I had a quick go this morning. I split it up and I have the circular badge part in a 15k SVG, but the eagle is proving a bit trickier, but it should be doable. I'll have another go when I get home from work.

Thanks! Much appreciate it!

I tried to split the png into four parts, but the SVGs i got were all around 100kbs...

I would split it the other way, ie remove all of the black and save it as a new file.
Then reload the original and remove everything apart from the black.
Then you just have to place one on top of the other in the livery editor

I had to simplify the life out of the eagle, so it looks slightly more like chicken now, and I do apologise for bastardising your badge, but it's the best I can do.

This worked! It's perfect! Thank you!
