I usually find tributes to be a bit lacking in imagination but that isn't half bad. Actual gameplay looks a bit clunky and akward though, but otherwise, pat yourself on the back. 👍
How long did it take to make?
I didn't work often or much on it until yesterday. About 10 (I calculated it better) hours of work. Oh and reason why the game's clunky is because I couldn't make more than 8 directions since it's in an RPG. It's gonna be part of my RPG's story where they go in a championship called the "Winter Monday Cup". Also I made the car overly slow because there's only 6 speed ratings possible in the game. Also, I changed the car's name to New Paqueetle 2014 to avoid copyright problems.
Second race is gonna happen on Eiger Nordwand where the character you see on my account picture takes over in his Custom Paquet-Yota Aqua S (Keeps it relevant to the character) and with a panic meter (The character's afraid of mountain. My siggy says it all, he's my video game reflection. I'm afraid of mountain so he is hehe.)
The final race happens on "Grand Valley Semi-East Course Early Detour" with his Maine Coon racing on a kitty prepared Paquet-Zda Miata (Meowta): The first detour is here but the detour taking to the bridge and the tunnel aside of the cliff isn't part of the session.
When no limits are here, A lot of things can be done. ^ω^
I plan on making championship giving experience points for other parts of the game along with exclusive rewards.
There's gonna be much more race types. This is beta mode, Then there's Spot Race, Championship Race, "Track gets thinner every lap race", Stunt Races, Endurance Races, One-on-Ones where the opponents is tougher than the rest, AutoCross, Rally Races, then Drag races (These'll surely be clunky...).
There's also gonna be other types of racing events. Bikes, Jet-Skis, Speedboats, Bicycles, On foot, etc.
Also as you could see there's a penalty system in the game. Level 1-5 means immobilization for 1 to 5 seconds when cutting a corner, 6-9 gives immobilizations and warnings at the same time. 6 gives you 4 chances, 7 gives you 3, 8 gives you 2, 9 is insta-disqualify on cutting corners while 10 as soon as you leave the track it's over. Rest assured, Endurance racing won't go over 5 so that hard work isn't ruined by a disqualification.
I'll also add snow patches which slides the car a bit on tarmac tracks, Ice patches and Water puddles on tarmac circuits which slide the car a lot (These happen on Winter and Rain variants), while rally during rain are going to have mud patches which slows down the car (These happen in raining variants). Snow rally will have deep snow which will slow down and slide the car a bit.
There's damage in the game but since this is beta it's far from fully implemented.
The new GT6 track editor really bolstered my wish to create racing tracks and tributes in RPG Maker VX Ace since I don't have access to the app.
