A question about driving helps

OK, first I want to say I'm an anti driving helps person, but ABS 1 because I use a dualshock and can't control precilsy my acceleration.

My question is : which of these driving helps exists in the real world ?

I haven't got the english version of the game so I can't tell the names you can read in the quick menu.

Another question only for anti driving helps persons : with which car do you need them almost mandatory ? Formula 1 or 2 ? Group C cars ? JGTC ?

By 'help' I assume you mean driver aids?

By all means, all these aids exist in real life, otherwise they wouldn't appear on GT5.

Formula cars have very advanced TCS and ABS systems, but i'm not very familiar with GT cars.

I was speaking of "helps" because in french there are called "aides au pilotage" and our word "aides" translate mostly with helps, not aids. Yeah I'm engrish, true fact.

Well in fact I wonder if the two aid in the menu listed between TCS and GSA even exist irl...

Active steering exists in the real world but not the same way GT5 handles it. Skid Recovery Force is obviously a bit cheaty and doesn't exist in the real world. ASM, TCS, and ABS all exist in the real world, however, their application differs car-to-car whereas it doesn't in GT5.

fully tuned LMPs like 787b, 908 HDi FAP or R10 are really hard to drive without aids. When im frustrated I use a bit of TCS and ASM. Skid recovery slows you down in long/fast corners. All lower cars a playable without any aid. My opinion.

I can never learn to drive with driving aids effectively, run them all off... they mess me up trying to tune/learn the limits of a new car when I start driving it.
