Hello

I have a request to everybody from a Norwegian.

The twin terror attacks were aimed at democracy, the right to free speech, the tradition of compromises and openness. All the victims were acting in the service of democracy when they were murdered.

I have a suggestion of how to honor their memory and making the result of the terror attacks the opposite of its intention.

Please use your democratic rights, and use them with compassion and honesty. Voice your opinions, and show respect for those who have opinions that you disagree with. Voice your opinions, but don’t be afraid to admit it when you realize you have been wrong. Find compromises where you can, because no one can be absolutely right, me and you included.

And most important vote in elections, use your democratic right. Vote blank if you must, but vote. When you put your vote in the ballot, do so with the knowledge that you are honoring the victims of the attack on democracy in Norway July 22, 2011, and making the result the opposite of its intentions.

Respectfully yours
Bjørn KM

I get your point, but it will not do much. This time it's a right wing terrorist, and apperently it was a lone wolf, next time it's a muslim extremist or a left wing extremist. You can't stop people like that, and there will always be people unhappy with their country's situation, how cruel it may seem.
