Very boring race, done,it in my Ford RS200 which was stock. Although I'm not complaining about the prize car since it's like the first that I haven't got already

More of a fun event this time than a challenge, but a chance for true beginners in the game to get a feel for how things work. Last Seasonal's Beginners was quite a different kettle of fish.

And that wily Brit, Chapman, is back. :)

Easy win in an Elise from 2011 - Bone stock - with ABS=0 of course. On a track like this you have to rely on the Elise's reserves of raw brake horsepower to out gun the AI and its ability to take those complex corners flat out and trust your ability to ...

who am I kidding, it was a paid excuse to test the top speed of your car.

Replay looks nice...

Easy as ferk.

Used the 97 Camaro Z28. 5.7 v8 and the 6 spd man. ate this with a 5 sec. gap at the finish.

Nice prize too, I mean I would never buy it.

Used the '06 Skyline Sedan. Racing box set to 174 mph. Best was a win by over 3 seconds. Easy source of money.

Awesome, my ps3 decided to crash while i was exiting when i won.

Did it with a mada mx5 '07 roadster with 5 seconds to spare.

And I thought it was going to be the road course. Utterly boring. Done and gone 1st place in an Accord.

Had first place by the end of the first lap in my 07 miata. Keep it pinned and dodge the rabbits. It was good for 164mph on the straights and 155ish in the corners. This is the epitome of a beginner race. Keep it floored for the win. LOL

I have a feeling this car is under used as it is a replica of the others but this is the car I used to get gold in this event.
The only change I made to the tune was setting the final gear on the transmission to 3.010.

Scion FR-S '12

Now this is a great car! I actually used it to win the intermediate event. Much better than the Toyobaru BRZ86...

Too easy in a fully upgraded Lancia Stratos. Used my own anti widow-maker tune. Fast little thing... it reached over 170mph.

It happens to me like 5 times, when im going to get the car the screen goes all black and i can't even go to the PS3 Menu

I thought maybe its a corrupt save file or something and delete the game saves its still the same so i reboot and same thing happens when I enter the seasonal

Good thing I'm not the only one complaining about this, seriously its annoying

I'm going to work now I'm going to leave the ps3 on until i get back to see if anything changes

If someone is having trouble with this "bug " please create a thread about it

I chose this as the practice race after taking a week off the sticks.

Fairlady Z '02 detuned to 450PP, completely stock, no aids. Comfort Soft tires are fun!

It would be more fun if we had to win in just one lap :P

Great (but kind of ugly?) prize car that I would have never bought.

Trying to find the highest top speed 450PP here, and i'm impressed... 292kmh, drafting, with the FD '91 and a 2'57" finish.

Also a screaming 285kmh @ 11k+ RPM in a EK '97. No way a a 255HP FF hatch can reach that irl, can it?

If transmission would let it irl maybe. My civic 1.6 160bhp reaches the limiter in 5th at about 240 kmh (speedo shows that, probably closer to 225 on gps).

If you've got a spare $14.99 lying around, replace your disc.

Beautiful. Although 285kmh with that shape, i dont know... BUT, without drafting, it averaged ~260/265 which is more than realistic, so you may be right.
