Figured from the PP limit that I'd be up against a few mid-range Ferraris and maybe even a Lambo rabbit, since the AI tends to cheat the PP limits on these seasonals, so I brought a 365...and the rabbit turned out to be a GTV. :odd: Won by more than 30 seconds and started lapping people on lap 4. Ah well, looks like this'll be a fun one to mess around with some low-PP Italian cars in, at least.

Easy race with the abarth fiat 500. It was a little fair with the fiat because my position in the first lap was 6th place

Wow, i thought this would be a bit harder, so i took my Ferrari F430 downtuned.
Whoopsie, very very easy. Lapped the first fiat 500 in lap 3...(sorry typo,i thought it was 2, but was at the beginning of lap 3)
But then again, the credit prices say enough. Easy race? Lower prices winnings.

Did it in my Maserati, lowered an inch, some camber and toe adjustments, and power upgrades to 500.

I felt bad for them. Passed the Lancia rabbit in lap 4, was lapping the others. Ran a 1:21 on a risky final lap, kept an average pace of 1:23.

Pretty easy with the mildly tuned but stock settings Lancia Stratos even though it can be a sketchy car to drive... I slipped out a couple of times and still won but it did make it a closer battle .

Cheers

I used a detuned Italia excepting Ferraris & Lambos but got Fiats & Lancia cars. Talk about a mismatch! I will probably run again with an Abarth or something along those lines

I did the same thing in my Maserati. I was expecting things like Countaches and 512BBs, got a Lancia and a classic Fiat, as well as an Abarth.

I'm not sure why the old Fiat 500s are in the field. They're so slow you're likely to run into them. I lapped 2 of them twice in the same short 5 lap race..

Wow... I was shocked to lap that pathetic Fiat TWICE! This isn't the beginner's race... That car has no business being in this race. I used my trusty Nicks Forza Dino Replica tune from Ridox's Garage. I will definitely return to run this race with other cars. It's a fun track and I don't run it nearly enough...

I won this one with my '91 Lancia DELTA HF Evo first time out. Stock settings for the racing suspension, gear box and used @Motor_City_Hami tune guide to set up the LSD. I love this car! Great sound and handles like a go kart. Thank you @Motor_City_Hami for taking the time and putting the effort into this excellent tuning guide. Awesome explanations about each individual system.👍👍👍👍👍. I still don't get PD's low payout system. If it hadn't been for the money glitch when the game first came out I would have probably returned this pre-order and went back to GT5.

I used a Lamborghini Miura with power limiter - took two attempts to win because of a spin. Won easily on the second attempt. The lead car (Lancia Stratos) is so much faster than the other cars that it lapped one. I noticed that the Lambo was incredibly quiet in cockpit view - I'm sure it's much quieter since the last update.

Did it rather too easily in the Abarth Fiat 500. Was expecting to roll over forwards but I guess racing softs are needed for that fun.

I went for my delicious Dino and found the Rabbit was also a Dino. We both lapped 3 or 4 cars.

What car is a true "rabbit" for this event? None of the cars I've seen in the AI Field is even competitive at 425pp.
Another Dino is at least an improvement.

Don't confuse the Fiat 500 Arbarth with 500pp like I did when it was set up for 400pp....Duh
Couldn't figure out why it wasn't very competitive but got a second with it. After adjusting the power level to 500PP, easy win.

Yeah, a little on the forgiving side, high 1:26+ seems to win. As a point of reference previous Time Trials at 500pp with SH have gold lap times of less than 1:22 at this track so about 4-5 seconds slower than gold.

Similar to National A 500pp Clubman Cup Race, which is only a three lapper.

It seems a lot of you guys who glitched millions last Dec aren't really too happy about it now. That instant gratification thing didn't work out? Current payouts are fine, six figure credits for seasonals, millions for Sierra Isn't GT5 dead as of last May?

I personally regret glitching for my millions. Took the magic out of tuning on a budget, and watching your car slowly transition from slow to fast as you get the funds to make it that way.

Couldn't win against the Dino in a 450pp Fiat 500F, so went for th ever amusing Panda at 480pp for easy win. Though the Dino did make a late show and was catching me up on the run-in.

I have never tampered with my 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400. Underneath that sexy green paint sits all original equipment, baby! Of course, I had to detune her some to get into this 500PP race. Now, I'm not saying that I wouldn't be a wee bit nervous if I saw a green Lambo flying up on me in my rearview mirror, but don't you think this guy hit the brakes a tad much? :D
