i have come across this old abandoned mill numerous times with my bike already, so i finally told a friend that we should pay it a visit with our cameras. some parts of it now inhabit artists, some small companys and some squatters or hobos, but other parts are falling apart for 30 years now.
at first we just walked straight through the door...and made the mistake of staying too long at the entrance, already photographing. soon some of the inhabitants arrived, warned us of the janitor and due to the noise they made, the aroused wife of the janitor appeared on a window and told us to leave...
so we left, went round the corner and sneaked in through the back by climbing over a fence.
although it was bright daylight, it was all pretty gloomy there...
after having a look into one of the smaller buildings, we went into one of the main ones that was very impressive. first there was a room with big tanks and lots of chains hanging from the ceiling...a thing i thought only existed in cheap horror films. then there was a huge hall with a large oven or something...multiple stories high that i climbed on rotten, rusty stairs...that was far creepier than the chains. ;)
we spent quite a bit in there before we left, photographing. in one corner i found documents from 1969...
sadly, most of the mill remained unexplored.

anyway, here are some impressions, in no particular order:

Great pics 👍

Wouldn't look out of place in a horror film.

God I love these types of pics. They're all done really really well Vlad in all aspects. Awesome collection 👍

Did you see any signs like this in the building?
