I recently found an abandoned factory a couple of miles away from me,surprisingly in a green belt area - it made for some really interesting photos, love these kind of places - some do tell a story.

The whole album is here : http://s495.photobucket.com/albums/rr319/rodzi55/Abandoned Factory/

I love those places as well, great pictures. Must be nice to have the sense of security of going into those places and feel safe...

In this country, if you get into one of these places, you pretty much find this:

So I just stay away.

I was watching a documentary recently on Netflix about people who go into places like that and explore. Pretty cool places.

The one with the lock, if the focus was on it would make a great photo.

Really loving the newspaper one, easily my favorite of the bunch. 👍

One thing I noticed though, the general set leaves an impression that most photos were taken without much thought. This comes mainly from the angle; you shot almost all of them from a standing poition on the ground.
If you could go there once more, try shooting from different angles. Either get on top of something (only if it's safe to do so) and especially shoot from low, which will work wonders for this kind of place, since everything will look bigger and more "menacing", which is what the goa is when shooting in places like that.
You'll be amazed at how the same place looks different when you shoot from non-conventional angles. Plus, it'll be more of a challenge with composition as well. :)

But overall, nice work.

Oh, and... don't get raped.
