There's a whole genus of small sports cars built in Italy in the 1950's. A guy I knew let me help work on the restoration of a car called a Bandini. Well, until I almost started it on fire!

That era is largely ignored which is a shame because of the beautiful design and passion poured into many of those cars.

I agree! The European stylings of the 50s and 60s are in my opinion the best looking cars of all time and it always seems like there are more out there that you don't know about. A lot of fun and its a shame that there aren't more great cars like this in Gran Turismo. I mean they don't even have the major ones, like the Maserati Birdcage.

Yes, the Birdcage is a stunner, so is the Aston DBR1, The Alfa Tipo 33, and there are many more coach built cars from that era that are simply beautiful.
