AC Cobra setup

Hi all, i've had a little search around on the forum but most of what ive found seems to be for the Shelby Cobra. i know the two cars lookalike but i was unsure if the settings for them both are the same? If they are just let me know and ill go away with my tail between my legs lol, but if not would anyone be knid enough to post the settings for a stock AC Cobra? I dont use ASM but i have TCS on 2. I was also wondering if its worth putting a LSD in, as im not totally sure what they do? if i were to do this how should the settings be changed?

Pretty much the same car as the Shelby Cobra except for steering wheel placement. Similar settings should yield a decent car.
 
Thanks all for your replies. Heres my current setup, any ideas on how to improve it? The only mods to the car are an oil change, racing hard tyres, FC tranny and a FC LSD.

This setup seems to be ok-ish for the racing tryes ive got, but im not happy with it for the 1000 mile nurb race (where only sports or n tyres are allowed). any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
 
omfg, sorry bro, but have u not been reading the posts and all? if ur doing 1000 mile nurb race wiht a cobra, ur outta luck, my lmp race cars will wipe u off the table and the charts, thyell lap u so much it wont even be funny. if u want to race endo races, be smart and get some of those really really really fast cars(milnolta, calsonic r92sumtin, sauber mercedes, and many more) and if ur hella poor and cant fork out 3.-4.5 mil, then i suggest u do 1 make races till u win the jaguar race car, then ur set. otherwise, ur best bet would to try touring cars, though theyd get creamed too, but as least u wont get creamed as bad as ur cobra homes.

no, i mean the one in the european hall. i have all of the black lmp cars but only cars before 1970 can enter. the cobra is dominating in this champ im half way through and 6 laps ahead of the competition at opera paris. thanks anyway
 
My advice on Cobra tires, and most high powered FR cars, is to go one stage stickier at the front than at the rear. I.E. front med = rear hard. This way you get a little extra grip on your turning axis, but more importantly the front and rear wear evenly thereby avoiding pitstops.
I used the Charger in the European 1000 miles race. Cleaned UP!! :dopey: Those old Euro sporsters were nice but NO WAY they could keep with the big ponies for long!!!
 
ahhh, grrr, 1k miles is stilll hecka long, i did all but the 2 24h nurb endo races and my minolta has about 6k miles on it and me jaguar maybe 1-2, and thats counting the redos to get the cash (the fuji 1k km races wiht 750k and 743k car?) lol. i think its the fuji race or sumtin like that, but w/e. 1k race is hecka long and u have a cobra? bleh, thats gona kill ur limited hp dude, id use a lmp car if i were u
 
Not sure if you've done the race in question djaft3rb3ats, as you seem to have it mistaken for a single. The 1000 MIles in the Euro Hall is a series of four races. Also, it is restricted to pre1971 vehicles (strangely including American cars for the only instance in the Euro Hall) This said, a decently set up American Muscle Car of any kind is more than sufficient to take out the competition in Europe for that era. They actually look kinda funny being twice the size of their European counterparts! :dopey:
 
o0o0o the euro one, is the it touring car one? dude, ive done so many races,dont even try to flame on my memory bro. if it is the touring car one (where u win the mervcedes clk-gtr or w/e) then i used the opel astra touring car
