I just need to shout this loud.

I just love this game.

I use to play iRacing a lot and switching back to Gran Turismo on my PS3 every now and then. Though iracing is great, I don't know what it is but it doesn't have that 'something' that I get playing GT. With AC, I now get both plus even more. Wife just asked me this morning why I'm spending too much sim racing lately. Blame Assetto Corsa.

Same here. As much as I love this sim, I can't drive much now a day, very busy!! I might force myself to play again once version 1.2 comes out. :D

I understand exactly what you are saying about the feeling in IRacing.
About 3 years ago, I was playing gt5 a lot, racing in leagues, when trying IRacing, it did not felt right, NetKar Pro, race 07, P&G felt right. So at the time I was preferring the feeling in GT5 to IRacing, even though both had big issues as a driving simulator.

Since early adopters day with AC I have not looked back, to me, Kunos had raised the bar.

I am now almost exclusive to AC, not talking about RF2 or GSE because I have limited experience with them and unfortunately at this time no time to explore further, the only one beside AC I like and drive and warmly recommend is R3E since the May update, it is quite a revelation.

I will leave Project cash (car) alone as after some testing, to me, it falls short in too many aspect, particularly physic and FFB. The only chance PCars has, is with people that did not had the chance to use a good sim with a good wheel, still using a controller, and came straight from Forza or GT6, for those I guess, PCars is a step up.

Haven't tried Pcars, doubt I ever will. Still drive the Historix mod for rfactor occasionally. AC just delivers for me, and with modding the obscure cars and tracks I like will gradually become available.

If AC had some of the cars of pCars and all the track, I didn't need pCars at all.

I'm not interested in modded tracks and cars for AC. I'm only interested in the original laser scanned track.

I'm very fussy with my extra content too. Some is very good though, and worthy of attention.

Wait for the 1.2 patch then visit the official or racedepartment mod forum and you will see a lot of quality mods being released. Every major modding team seems to be waiting for the patch because of the sound update.
