Hello, I registered especially to ask this question. Please be gentle!
I have a problem with my Driving Force (AKA "the GT3 wheel" not the DFP) accelerate pedal. I looked around the forums and did a search but couldn't find a solution to my problem.
So anyway, my problem is that while playing GT3, my car is always accelerating, even when the accelerate pedal is fully up. The threads on here all seem to talk about a braking problem with the DFP and, although that is a different wheel, I thought the solution might be something similar.
So I tried to unscrew the pedals base and have a fiddle inside. I took out all the screws, but one side (the leading edge of the unit where the wire comes out) seemed to be stuck. I was scared to force it open in case I broke it.
Any tips would be appreciated, even if you just tell me how to open the damn thing!
