Does anyone else have this game?
My son bought it a couple of months ago and I finally had the house to myself long enough to give it a shot.

This Game is totally awesome.

Low replay value. But High VS. mode value.

After completing the 18 missions. (it ain't easy, BTW) You can then dog-fight with another player.
It sort of reminds me of F-15 Strike Eagle with better graphics and about 20 planes to choose from.

If you aren't into flight sims. Rent it. You can prolly finish it in the 5-day window that Blockbuster will give you. It is a blast!!!

I have this game. It is the best console plane game ever. Mobious1 is awesome! I beat the game after a cople weeks of having it. It is a great game. 9/10 for me! :)

The last mission is a toughy though. Hard to play a plane at 150 MPH without stalling. I do not want to ontinue, I will let those who have not beaten it figure out he rest! 😈

Ace Combat 04 ROCKS!!!

I remember those Strike Eagle games, those were my favorite games. The one on NES was basically black sky and brown ground and your cockpit, that's it. I think 3 was actually 3D.

The last mission isn't hard! I had my F-22 going through there at 200 knots on Ace difficulty. I like when enemy pilots are screaming their heads off when they see Mobius 1, the grim reaper, coming right at them. The best part of the game is the music. They really spent time composing the music, it's great.

My son told me how to get to the third generator. The first two were no major problem. I used the A-10 as it was tailor made for ground attack missions.
Of course, I only own two planes besides the crappy F-4 Phantom.
The A-10 and the SU-37.

The third generator took me ages to find. Yeah, the first two are a breeze. I kept running into walls seeing if a wall had a tunnel opening. I finally figured it out and blew up that damn thing. Felt great!

Ok,
Have gone back thru the game several times.
Replay value is great. Especially if you try to get the "S" rating for all missions so you get the hidden plane.
Two missions to go. Tango Line and MEGALITH.

I haven't driven an inch on GT3 since I started messing with this one.

I really need to get back into this game... I think something about this game that I like the best is the fact that the resale value of your planes are 100%, I mean, other than gameplay and graphics that is...

A great game for sure, thanks for reminding me I had it, life happened and I forgot I even had it..

I rented the game, and liked it. I just got until the 7th mission, because I didnt realize I had to be really close to let my missiles impact the enemies. I used to fire them at a pretty far distance

Tango Line is one of my fav. missions. Ground attack what? I just unleash the F-22 on Ace level and have a blast!

I used to have the game its well nice and all but metal gear made me have to part exchange it shame I would probably buy second hand now one of my favorite things that I said when playing the game "piss taking yellow 1 I am gonna get u good u annoying bag of ....................curse curse curse!!!!!!!!!!"

that mission when u have to shoot the missiles down was done before in ace combat 2 but in ace combat 4 they were 20 times more annoying

Ace Combat 3 for PSx is pretty good too..the gfx are excellent and theres like 40 something missions..I just wish I had the Japanese version of the game...They have Anime FMVs in it :D and alot more mission i believe..

AC3 was horrible. Like your said, the anime fmv was taken out. What I didn't like was the HUD targeting was way to small. Ground targets were just a couple of pixels on the screen. The controls were bloated and the graphics weren't that good. Especially when Airforce Delta just came out for DC.

I never played ace combat 3 though I saw it at my local (illegal) market for about a £5 bet I can still get it if i look for it now
