Hey guys, I've used the search function with no success on this topic (if there is a thread specifically for this, feel free to close this one down). What i would like to know is, what this function is on Mitsubishi cars. Also how to tune it effectively. Only thing i ask is to keep it as simple as possible. Thanks guys.

Think of how an army tank turns. To change direction it will speed up the outside track and slow down the inside track. AYC works in a similar manner on the rear wheels of the Evo. When you turn left it speeds up the right rear tire to to "push" the car through the corner and reduce understeer. The higher the setting, the less understeer. The catch is that the car may weave back and forth on the straight as the AYC overreacts to every little steering input. This is most apparant on the Evo X.

I would use the LSD, but it doesn't seem to show up in my parts list in the settings menu of the car. Strange I know but still it's good to learn about these things.:)

lol ya that stupid no LSD for any Evo's pisses me off so much. I can't wait till next update and it better be fixed. I learned to hate yaw control now because of it, especially since it barely changes anything when I adjust it

On the opposite end of the spectrum, I love the Yaw controllers, I find them to work much better than LSD. :D

Im loving my RM Evo 05 currently. I had a look at the AYC earlier and I have it 'maxed' at 130 haha

It doesnt seem to cause me any problems but ill bear it in mind next time im in it which will be soon :D .

Really? But you can't drive in a straight line when using an AYC (with wheel). And then everyone's asking if you're drunk..........:grumpy:

I'm thinking you people just don't no how to set the LSD correctly in a 4wd car cause yaw control barely does anything or just makes things weird

I haven't had that effect yet on any car aside from the EVO X. But I hate the EVO X, I like 5-9's.

Yaw controllers can do a LOT, it's just some work to find the right spot, and it has to tandem with the rest of the setup, not unlike an LSD.

IRL, absolutely. And since no one here has read the AYC code buried within GT and concluded it works differently, I see zero reason to believe otherwise.
All I know is higher makes it drive better, until you go to high.
I'll have to make an EVO tune in the near future and test it thoroughly.

I hate the AYC due to the weaving. If you have a wheel, it just shakes back and forth constantly and becomes a real pain.

True! And whatever I do, it's much harder to drive a good line with AYC installed.
