Acura/Honda NSX HELP ME!

Im a beginner and i want to master drifting at the Nsx, i have settings, but i want to kno if anyone has really good ones or am i good with the settngs i got from NoNOS4Me, and yea otherwise waht kinda of tires should i be using? Simulation for awesome drifts?
If i can get help ii would be most appreciated!:D

I am not trying to insult you or anything... but it seems to me that too many people believe that the settings will majically make you in a certain car a godlike drifter... I am not saying that settings will not help, but i am saying that it is not settings that one should worry about. One should worry about the skill with which an individual can use drift well most settings on any car...

Now that i have vented my frustration i welcome you to the drifters forum... i hope you find alot of help here...

Tires are always a matter of debate here... i would suggest one of hte following...
use simulation tires with around 300 hp...
use super slicks/slicks with around 400 hp...
It really depends upon you... sims will be slower and require a bit more concentration to make drifts relatively clean... Slicks will let you drive at higher speeds... brake less often... and while still requiring concentration for extremely clean drifts, spin outs are less likely but still very possible...

As for settings i would suggest looking in the drifters faq and clicking on the drift settings link number 1... there may be some there i have no clue... if that does not help respond and i will pm you some general things so you can set up your car as you would like rather than relying on other peoples settings... With your own settings you will be able to develop more confidence in your own skills which is the most important thing in this game...

Yes, changing tires alone are most definitely the choice for drifters who are too lazy to change settings. Get a race mod NSX... they tend to have way better suspensions that stock don't

Offtopic, but DrifterRPS13, you lived approximately 10 miles away from my house... (who says I lived on Oakland ;))

lol... we're all on the east bay... even tho mine says frisco i am in berkeley right now...:D

BTW i am not saying to forget about tuning... rather i am saying experiment on your own... the benefits will be greater than taking someone elses settings and trying them out... no one drifts exactly the same...

yea i kno that settings arent everything but it helps, i kno u can drift stock, but with a higher tuned car its usually a lil more difficult to drift with ive experimented with different settings but i just cant get something right i just wanted to test others u kno maybe someone has the same feel i have. But yea i kno settings arent everything, i drift my 240sx over on Fish Ranch rd u kno before the caldecott tunnel and my car is stock....lol off subject but yea, thanx for your input u kno just needed more opinions and advice other than my lil bro who thinks u keep ASM on....lol

Just so you know s13... I wasnt trying to attack you or anything... i will pm you some stuff i think are basic when tuning a vehicle. I will also inlcude some basic setups i use for mr cars. I personally feel the nsx is the best car for mr drifting...

to dark skyline... what is :odd:
