Acura NSX '13 not in GT6 dealerships - thoughts?

The leak threads ("Got a copy of GT6, ask question here" and "GT6 Q/A") have apparently shown that the Acura NSX and lunar rover aren't in the dealerships. They must be in the game sometime/somewhere, as they were shown driving in the latest concept movie. Any thoughts on this?

In one of the latest threads - a gameplay video of somebody doing a lunar rover mission on the moon has emerged. Take what you will from that information, perhaps you can't buy the rover straight away.

The NSX seems to have been temporarily removed, maybe for day 1 patch or future DLC.

What's the name of the thread?
 
I think I saw a screenshot where it shows that the Lunar Buggy was a reward for that moon mission. Not sure.
 
The NSX '13 has never been announced in the official car list, so it will be probably comes with a DLC. Don't need to talk about the others that a lot of people expected...

Huh. If you look carefully in the latest concept movie though, you'll see an NSX '13, with the model made, interior and all.

Problem is the NSX was shown to us two years ago, so we know it is modeled at least exterior wise as well as any other premium and yet it's still not in the game.

Gee because cars don't ever come out prior to their model year, that's never heard of is it? How the hell did I ever manage to buy a 2013 car in 2012? I'll let you borrow my time machine if you'd like? :dopey:

Wonder if PD will do the same as they did with the GT86, and give us a finalized version of the car along with the concept. :odd:
 
I was bummed out when I found out about it. They've been parading and advertising this car in all their promo trailers as well. It happens to be the car I'm looking forward to driving the most.

Though I agree, we got to at least drive the test mule while the car was still in testing phase IRL. Same goes with past concepts to Honda and PD are being somewhat strange about the NSX concept.
 
Maybe the NSX is an hidden car such as the X1 5G in GT5. It could be on the BlueRay but not available at the dealership.

But I believe PoDi has some arrangement with Honda about the confidentiality of the projet. If it's true, the car mustn't be in the game in order to avoid hacker to found it and to reveal informations that Honda don't wanna deliver right now. Exactly as Chevrolet did with the C7 by releasing the "black mask" version in order not to show the complete car in the game before the official launch.

I understand that the 2013 models are revealed late 2012. But 2011?

The Lunar Rover get's unlocked when you beat Novice I believe, or at least the Lunar Rover event gets unlocked. I don't believe the Rover ever appears in the dealership for purchase. I could be wrong.

The "lunar missiones" maybe are just an event, and like in GT5, you won't be able to race with the X1 until you beat the Vettel's event, where the reward is the X1.

Um the next gen Ford Mustang is going to be released December 5 and that is the 2015 model. The FY and release date of car shown hardly mean anything. There is a video that is dated that clearly shows the car from nearly 2 years ago. And we've know about Honda designing it much earlier than that.

Put "prototype" in the name.
Chevy, nissan, and toyota didn't have any issues with that.
