Acura NSX '91

So I purchased the NSX '91 from the Acura dealership and did the RM on it at first, I have been racing with it and completed a few series' with it. I have performed all remaining upgrades for the NSX so there is nothing left to make it more powerful and it sits at 425HP and I can adjust the Transmission to raise the top speed to something like 226MPH but I am still having trouble getting this car to compete well in the Gran Turismo All-Stars championship (at least I think that was the name, its the last series in the Prof. set) it does ok until I hit the straight aways and that is where they destroy me. Now I have tried a couple different gear settings with the Trans. trying to gauge what I thought would be the top speed that the other cars are hitting based on what speed I was going when they flew past me and nothing seems to work. I would say that maybe being able to adjust single gears instead of an overall gear shift but again I am not sure because I really don't have tons of experience with all the particulars of tuning. If anyone has beaten this series with the NSX I would appreciate the tuning specs that you used.
I have read a few posts that say that you need to use one of like 3 different cars to beat this series but I just don't believe that they only included that small amount of cars for such a challenging race series. I would also like to avoid spending upwards of 3 mil credits for just one race as well lol.:yuck:

Get yourself a ZR-1. As much as I love the NSX, its simply not competitive enough for that series.

Good luck

I was really hoping that I could pull it off, well I was going to buy the ZR-1 at some point anyways.... on the other hand, if there is anyone else out there with other thoughts I would love to hear them.

If im not mistaken, the Gran Turismo All Stars have up to almost double your horsepower. It's not a matter of driving skill at that point, it's just downright impossible.

Plenty of cars that can run it with relative easy, but you'r going to need quite a few more ponies under your hood :)

I don't get it, why did you even bother RMing an Acura NSX + full tune, if you can also buy a more powerful Honda NSX JGTC? I guess it's about the same price^^

I RMed the NSX because I liked the look, plus its one of the few cars that I like that can actually get the RM option. I do have a newer NSX that I bought from the Honda dealer but honestly I think that the RM NSX drives better than that one...and there is no doubt that it looks way cooler.

*Edit*

And from what I remember the cars in that series are only running maybe 50-70 more HP than what the NSX has...not really a huge gap as I have beaten races with about the same gap in power, just not this one heh
