Adapter and steering wheel

I have previously posted that I am considering to get the G27, and in that regards I might go for an adapter like Chilicoke sells from his page.

However I wonder about two things.

Firstly, maybe a stupid question but will the size of the wheel effect the degree in which the wheel can turn ?

And secondly, is there alot more wear to the mechanism since I assume an adapted wheel will be heavier then the stock wheel that comes with the G27?

Just looking for some experiences.

- No, still 900 👍
- Yes, there might be more wear. Also the the forces that the wheel can give to you will be lower.

I also was concerned about the extra wear on the G25/27 after fitting a larger wheel. So I came up with this........

You can take the wheel off before it calibrates, then attach it, or even just have more than one wheel for different types of cars. Pretty easy to make.

Last wheel I had was a Logitech Momo.
The one thing I did not like was how small the wheel was.
Is the G25/27 a big step up in size from the Logitech/Momo days or does the G25/27 still feel so small that an adapter plate and new larger wheel is a must buy upgrade ? Does the G25/27 wheel feel close at all, to real car size?
