Adjusting Downforce

Ok i found a Skyline drift setup i wanted to try out over at gtvault and it requires the adjusting of the downforce.. i got the car and i go to change it but it wont let you as it doesnt with most cars it seems but then again sometimes it will let you on certain stock vehicles.. I tried looking at the name of the car a few times to see if i got the right one and after several checks its clear to me tha its the right one.. Am i doing soemthing wrong? is there soemthign i need to buy to adjust the downforce? Im just curious cuz i went ahead and tried to drift with all the settings except changing the downforce and i failed miserably so i was hoping that maybe i just needed to adjust the downforce liek he had stated..

Hopefully one of you guys can help me out cuz im stuck and i want to try this drifting thing.. Any help appreciated

Thanks i'll try thought but i thought Skylines come Equipped with wings

In real life, those wings do give the car some downforce but in the game it is just for cosmetic purposes.

Not all spoilers are adjustable. Alot of the cars don't come with adjustable spoilers. The only ones that you will see that come with adjustable spoilers are the race cars, or some of the higher end street cars that are tuned.

In this case, the Skyline actually has a adjustable wing, although you can only adjust the little tip at the end of the wing

This thread would be more at home over in the Tuning and Settings forum.

BTW - In real life very few standard fit wings actually create downforce, some are cosmetic and some will reduce lift, but few actualy create true downforce (its a big step from lift reduction to creating true downforce).
