Adobe flash player?

Need help with adobe working on my PlayStation 3. I am trying to watch live streaming racing and the Olympics online. All I get is telling me to download adobe flash player which I do, then it tells me it is already installed.
I can play you tube video but not live online broadcast. Any ideas?

The PS3's browser is borderline useless, many sites will behave strangely especially when it comes to flash content even though it has flash. It's more like a mobile browser than a desktop one and there's nothing you can really 'do' to it.

The PS3 also has very little RAM which makes streaming content through the browser very difficult which is why there are dedicated apps on the XMB. I can only really recommend that you find any device other than a PS3 to watch stuff online on because its more trouble than its worth.

Pity your not in the UK because you could use the BBC Olympic PS3 app to watch all 26 streams live.

You can use the PS3 to stream media from your laptop.

You'll have to Google that though; I sold my PS3 awhile back and can't remember off the top of my head how to set it up.
