im not sure where to put my question, but here goes

my question is for adobe premier 6.0. i was wondering how do you add text to a movie. for example, say i had a clip of me drifting in GT3, and i want to add some text at the bottom left corner while the movie is still going, "Driver: Ethikz" is what text i want to add. How do i come about doing that? I have been playing around with Premier for more than 5 hrs and i cant figure it out. Can any of you help ? It would be much appreciated, thanks

You have to go to File --> New --> Title and then it would open a new window. This is where you can put text in a movie. You can use any font that your computer stores in its hard drive. Once you are done, say OK and then the title will appear in your bin. From there, you can drag the title into the timeline and then edit it. If you want a black background, make sure that there is nothing in video track 1. Oh, and also put the title in video track 2.

I hope that helps :)
