So i tweaked my Ae86 SS and it drifts lovely, except it doesnt always like the front end oversteering into a drift. Here's a vid of me doing a 13k, beter than my 11k (trophy drift), but something doesnt feel right, my PS3 is off atm so I can't get my tuning up atm, what setting to people have for an AE86 SS. Im still wanting another AE86 (seen SS like 5 times but no others!!)

Sry for the capture quality (iphone 3gs, no fancy HD capture from me.......yet)

We do have a thread concerning this matter. Though to get the youtube plugin, you take the symbols after the "=" and post it in the coding

You're lucky to have seen that many of the SS version, Ive been waiting two weeks for one to cycle through my dealership but only a sinlgle Levin has shown.

In regard to your tune, don't overthink it, people have a tendancy of tuning their cars past the point of it even being functional anymore. Lower it a bit, slightly stiffen the springs, add a bit of camber and beef up the diff and bam, you're ready to
go.

Exactly, but make sure you don't lower it all the way. Need some kid of body roll for weight transfer

My Highest is 12,400 in my supercharged AE86 Levin on Tsukuba.

As for the SS Trueno it will only pop up after you complete a certain percentage of the Game. Took like a month or two before I got it in my Used dealership.

P.S. Give me a chance to unpack And I'll find my Levin/Trueno Bible and I'll post up the AE86 Trueno N2 race car settings which include Engine Gear Ratios, Suspension, and I think it has LSD as well.

Managed 16K but my last two sectors were bad, I maybe able to get 18K as the car is. Very lightly modded think it's stock LSD, hard compound, fully custom tranny and suspension. I've only lowered it slightly I think -15 and messed with the toe and camber a bit, output is 230ish bhp.

I left that 86 stock forever and got some 20ks on tsukuba. now that its tuned its a lot faster in the corners. The height your at is the same as mine so good start there. I'd give you my settings but they are for the wheel. Good work though just keep at it, it is crazy that the more you drift even without someone better around you will always notice things to make your drifts better.

What? I've seen this car before but didn't take into account its rarity.

It took me 3+ weeks of obsessively checking the UCD before I had the oppurtunity to pick one up. Its well worth seeking out.

I may try doing a points run later on Tsukuba just for laughs and to see how I compare to others in this thread. 👍

Alot of mistakes far from perfect, 19216K run fair from stock though. With a perfect run it's easy to get low 20's to 25k. But I'm lazy, It was the first run of the day...It's really my forth time doing this Sector mode drifting I got my first try 5k Spirit R, 2nd 12k GT-s R32, 3rd 17k GT-s R32, 4th 19k with the AE86. This was about 2 months into the release of the game the 1st to 3rd runs, obviously the 4th was today. Still very much learning.
