AE86 Trueno - Perfect Settings

I'm too lazy to look. Can someone link me to the Perfect AE86 S.S. Settings? Like the ones that Master Drifters Use?

Perg's setting are pretty good but need a little tweeking to get it just right

In my opinion , theres no such thing as a Perfect Setting. All you need is Some Power (250 +Hp, maybe more) and TCS and ASM turn off.

Springs Rate, camber,etc, blah blah blah, doesnt have that much of an effect.


What i mean is that just because some person says theyre Perfect settings are -Insert Perfect settings- doesnt mean your car IS GOING TO DRIFT perectly because you have your car setup like -Insert Perfect settings-.

IMO, when you buy the FULL Racing Suspension, leave the settings as is. Youll be fine. AND practice practice practice

Ok, first thing... Drifting IS NOT ABOUT POWER! You do not need 250hp on an AE86.

I use 155hp on sims and I have a hell of a setup. That is my best sims drifting car. I can also drift it just as easily on normal tires. The only thing more power is good for is to cover up your lack of skill.

Spring rate and camber def. have an effect, try and drift with extreme camber on the front wheels, (becomes very hard), giving 0 camber in the back helps keep the car more stable and easier to control, extreme camber in the rear make the cars very slippery and sliddy and can become harder to control-

Spring Rate basicly has 2 setting, soft and stiff (or for people who are gonna say you have a whole bunch of possible setups) 3.5 - 7.5 is low and 15.0 to 20+ is stiff), my self, i prefer a soft spring rate and these things do make a differance-

Just Practice alot to understand how the car acts.
