Affordable cars or dream cars?

I'm starting this poll to see if i'm alone to prefer play/test "affordable" cars than dream cars in game.

Affordable cars are <20/30000 euros (twingo 133, clio 197, 500 abarth, ford focus...)

I guess I could never play with a dream car, because if I did, it wouldn't be a dream. Hence it is therefore not a dream car. In my opinion.

But I would love to maybe drive a R34 GT-R or such because it is possible for me to 'afford' one later in life.

But hell, if someone offered to let me drive their Lamborghini Reventon for the day, I would say "🤬 Yeah!" and proceed to crap myself.

I prefer dream cars, but would not want to lose the affordable ones as they have their own challenges and fun associated with them.

I chose Affordable mainly because, you can buy a (for example) Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R and modify it for around 650 Hp, and if tuned correctly it'll easily beat any dream car. So you can instead of spending like 200,000 credits on a dream car, i find it better to spend 20,000Cr on something like the Skyline or Evolution or something of the sort and modify it and easily match or beat dream cars.

I love both, although as meationed used skylines can be made faster than dream cars for half the price, theres nothing better than blasting the F430 around fuji , but, I like affordable cars mainly just to tune really

Because i prefere test drive cars i'm able to drive and own!
With GT5 (and G25) i'll stop to get on nerves of the car dealer every week to test their sports cars (affordable one of course)

I know that i can't buy a super sports car, i'll be happy to play with, but i'll play most of time with affordable sports car just to choose my next one in real life.

Of course both is what makes the GT franchise what it is. However, I said dream cars....now I love switching it up as most people do, but the fun associated with trying to control an F40 on Suzuka or hitting 180 mph at the end of the HSR straightaway in a supercar is fun at it's best for me....especially with a wheel, and since the chances of me getting a supercar are slim. Not impossible, but less likely.

It depends on how much money I have. Usually I will buy an affordable car and upgrade it to match the performance of much more expensive cars, as a few other people said. With some work, a Skyline could definitely compete with the best Ferraris or Lamborghinis.

Once I've built a fortune, I'll usually blow it all away on a dream car and treat myself. But I like to drive both. I am just as impressed by small hot hatches as I am by six digit supercars.

But if you're asking which one I spend the most time driving, then it's affordable cars.

You're disappointed in the way its represented in a game. A video game will never give you a visceral experience that you get in real life. This not only goes for super cars, but also classic cars. The smell, the sounds & of course, the driver feedback is missing. That doesn't mean that the car itself is bad.

Affordable all the way, I personally don't care about Ferraris or any other high-end car. I love GT for it's crappy econo-boxes and underestimated cars. Give me a Fiat Panda over a Ferrari F430. I'll play an old NFS for Dream Cars thanks.
