I’ve heard others mention experiencing the skipped pit stops before but not to this extent.
As of yesterday, I had a different AI driver skipping pit stops every single race at Sardegna for 4 days straight. This was my second experience where it lasted for an extended period of time, the last time being two days.
I had tried the following:
None of this worked.
Restarting the PS5 appears to have resolved it, and I tried it immediately after it happened in a race. I did a couple more yesterday after it booted back up and they were both fine even though the blue flag appears to be out quite often.
Hopefully if anyone else experiences this, restarting will prevent from it continuing to occur. Such a simple solution, frustrated I didn’t think to try it sooner.

- Finishing the race
- Exiting the race before it was over
- Restarting the same race part way through
- Trying a different car/tune
- Creating a new tune
- Leaving to the garage, LCD, BC etc…
- Did Time Trials
- Raced different events on different tracks
- Closing the game multiple times
