^ well, GT5's cars don't deform as much as their real-life counterparts + People don't drive at full speed in the opposite direction to their opponents around oval tracks in real life, like they do in GT5.... Hence the mad air.
 
Happened to me on the Daytona track.

Actually the down force of the car was set to maximum.

Gotta love the tank car... you can push the AI around like they are not even there!:dopey:

The unfortunate RX-7 got caught between me and the wall coming off the last turn of Trail Mountain... barrel roll! And it kept on going afterwards with a minimal loss of speed.
