As reported by eTracks Online, there may be plans to open up a new motorsports track in Alabama. I am a HUGE fan of Barber Motorsports Park. It is a BEAUTIFUL race course in Alabama. Question is, could I have to make a big choice between Barber and a new proposed course in Alabama? People, Alabama Motorsports Park will give way to racing action in Alabama at a track other than Talladega and B.M.P. But this racing deal will take place in Mobile, AL. That's Southern Alabama for the rest of us. College basketball fans know that as the University of South Alabama country. Yeah... the Jaguars of USA. But back to the track itself...
Alabama Motorsports Park is a plan to get drag racing, oval racing, dirt track racing, and road racing all into one shiny package. Expected to be complete by around fall of 2009, the track looks to be aimed at a broad range of disciplines. The maker is Gulf Coast Entertainment, L.L.C. If you take a closer look at the road course plan, doesn't its layout seem familar? Right! I thought it was the Miller Motorsports Park of the Deep South. I don't know if that's a loss of originality points or not.
Anyhow, racing in Mobile. Do you dig this deal here?
