Well, a few months ago I got the Nikon P300, played with the thought of getting a proper DSLR camera, but I'm not hipster and rich enough to do that. :dopey:

I'm more of the occasional snapper and am actually quite happy with my (first) results. Also, I'm concentrating more on nature, than on buildings or other stuff, as nature's beauty can't be topped, don't believe me? Well, check out my shots haha. :sly:

Taken some 2 hours ago, at 6am, 30mins away (with bicycle) from where I live atm, it's a little town/village called "Suderburg" in Niedersachsen, northern part of Germany, where I study. Lovely, lovely place with lots of agricultural fields and many awesome forests. Can't wait for autumn and a proper winter...

Video I made with the best shots I made until now (10.30.12):

(Excuse please the amateurish data on the first pic)

Sehr gut!

I really like number three. I love sunrise pictures. It doesn't get the attention it deserves, not like sunset.

I'd love to visit Germany one day. Maybe then I can put all these German classes to good use.

Thanks a lot astrodude! I guess I think too that number 3 is the best of the bunch, it looks kinda more "artistic/professional", than the others.

And yep you gotta visit Germanaydeh lol, always love to hear English and especially Americans talk in German haha. Besides, there are like dozens of other countries around us, we're right in the middle of (central) Europe, so you can visit and see much more besides Germany.

UPDATE 1:

Found it cool how all those trees were in one straight line:

I shall call this picture: The light at the end of the tunnel (I hope you get what I did there)

Nice start :D

"The end of the tunel " was a horror movie I saw a few months ago. :P

Thx. Don't know this movie, lemme just check out...

Although I hope you got what I actually meant, namely the famous light at the end of a tunnel when someone dies, like in a near-death experience. 👍

UPDATE 3:

Now some shots of my former hometown: Hannover, in English: Hanover, capitol of Niedersachsen:
