The '06 is the most powerful and the heaviest. The '95 has a nice big chunk of low-end torque because turbo, and weighs 180 kg less than the '03. The '03 is the weakest link, but I have a strong feeling that the hardtop version would have been a 2:32 or 2:33 car. Not sure why they chose to include the Spyder instead...

It's too bad they don't have the Eagle Talon TSI. My buddy had one when we were in high school (around 1992-1993) and it was a quick car...handled alright. Overall, a very decent ride...especially for a high school kid!

The '95 Eclipse might be ugly and kind of nonesensical when you have the much better FTO, but (at least in the game) it handles pretty good I must say. The last time I tried it was in GT5, and it was one of the top 10 FF cars in my garage. It's really smooth and surprisingly neutral.

The FTO GP Version R and GPX are great indeed. They're capable of 2:30 maybe 2:29 compared to 2:31 for the '95 Eclipse, and they do it without forced induction.

Edit: my old time in the GPX months ago was 2:31.115 but after 5 laps and a lot of frustrated restarts tonight I could only manage a high 2:31 so either the physics of this car got messed with or my old time is remarkable. I'll try the GP Version R later or tomorrow and see if I can do better in that car.

Yeah, the Eclipse has a really powerful engine for its class. I love the FTO though. What I think it's cool about it is that it has probably the smallest V6 in a Japanese FF car at 2.0 liters. Only after the Mazda MX3 V6 though. But that car isn't in the game unfortunately.
