Is anyone else going to buy all the cars in GTPSP. I've made a start, £110 million and several days on 2 laps of test track loop later and I've got 200ish. Only 600 left! Has anyone managed to buy them all yet?

Heck no... PD can keep their Honda Life Step van and all the rest of the Japanese K cars.

I'll buy those... at least they are unique. I can't imagine why I'd want to buy 37 odd versions of the Mazda Miata*.

*Disclaimer: I don't know if there are actually 37 slight variations of the Miata - it just seems like it.

830 cars. I only driven 4000 miles so far and only have 50 cars haha. All the more important ones, F1 2007, JGTC, Le Mans, D1GP, Group C race cars and Power House Amuse tuner cars and others.

I am currently at 448 unique cars owned and working my way toward all 830 in the Car Collection list.

You can track my progress in my shared Google Docs spreadsheet here:
http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AoWot0A-ZmRsdFNITzJlLVpuYlhyM2pKTHhUeURkQ2c&hl=en

There are four tabs/sheets. The first is the dealership cycle list for the GTI starter car, the second is the order the cars come in for the GTI starter car (not completed yet), the third is what cars I have purchased on what days, and the fourth is just a listing of all cars that I own arranged alphabetically by manufacturer.

i have a long way to go. i only have 20 or so cars. they are good ones though. pagani zonda race car for example is one i have.

I've got 786 unique cars with a total of 4153 color variations. :P

It does help to find the right people to trade with. :)

I'm just passing the 100 ay mark and i've only got 5:lol: The Peugeot 206, Ferrari Enzo, Corvette ZR-1, Ferrari F2007 and the Sauber Mercedes C9, which I just got today. I'm trying to collect all the Group C's and LMP's right now before I do anything else. Next up is the Minolta and then a long period for me to get enough credits for the Audi R8 Team Oreca, i've already got it all planned out.

I've got all 830 unique cars with a total of 4301 color variations just under 200 more to go. I am the right person to share with.

Since my PS3 isn't hard wired, and no one else I know in person has the game I won't be trading with anyone.

537 unique cars now.

EDIT: Part of me wants to personally buy them all just to prove PD's assertion that it is virtually impossible wrong.

Takes a long time to do and is hard to do, yes. Impossible, no. I'll be getting all the expensive, 1 million and over cars before anything else.

I have 500ish. But i gave up because GT focuses to much on there crappy Japanese 1990's city cars that no know will ever drive.

dependant on gt5 actual release date - but I'm aiming to collect all the cars (just not all colour combos) but if its does get dropped in March .....

given that I only got my psp (and yes its GT branded) to be able to play the mobile version - its something that may end up on the back burner.

This. Definitely.

I'm also on a mission to buy all cars using only good 'ol grinding. So far 452 cars collected. It's also worth noting that I'm also trying to finish 3 other games on my PS3, as well as doing schoolwork, besides just collecting cars on GTPSP. So it's DEFINITELY doable.

I have 830 unique and 2175 color variations. I'm filling in the all the colors now. I buy every car available at every dealer change. So I'll be done with them all very soon.

Where do you get those numbers from??

How do you separate the the Total number of cars from your UNIQUE models, and where do you get the 4153 color variations.

If You have 4153 Color Variations????? How many Cars to you have in total?

I go to garage and add all numbers with each make, e.g Amuse 3/4 gives me 3 unique cars. The number of color variations is just the total number of cars. Sorry for the confusion.

At the moment I have 807 unique cars and 4189 total.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Kudos to all of you who are also collecting every colour available 👍. I won't go that far, individual cars are enough for me :P.

Already have one of each car. Going for every car, every color. Already have 2 copies of each tradeable car's color (love to give out cars to those who needs them), as well as several race cars of every color (pick a color and number and BOOM! One make race cup!), as well as every color for small companies and favorite cars, like the Mazda Furai, GT by Citroen, and literally EVERY Subaru! Basically creating a GT database that fits in my pocket. When that's done, it'll be time to share that database with the world!

Cue the evil laugh...

I'm about to by the Toyota GTone, as i've trashed all plans for the Minolta and Audi R8 Team Oreca for now. Picked up the GTR and the Saleen today as well, both great cars.

So far I'm up to 830 unique cars and 4444 color variations. I have 2 SP cars the red SLR,blue GTR. I have a PSP Go.

UPDATE pic later

I'm right behind you with 4233 cars. I think the only way to know if you have them all is to go through the dealership cycle a few times and check every car. That's what I have been doing. Everyone once in a while I find a color I missed or a pocket of colors for a particular car.

Has PD officially stated the exact total minus the pre-order cars?
