Far as I know it's entirely appearance. Could be wrong. Also on the subject of wings, the RX-7's a funny one. Stock or no wing has a 0-80 adjustment range, aftermarket gets 5-100. Question here is why the Rex's stock wing is more efficient than the aftermarket ones on any other car, including other FDs that don't have the adjustable wing. Or why it's like this in GT6 but prior games had something more like a 0-8 range.

I ran into something similar with one of the cars I was tweaking the other day, can't remember if it was one of the Skylines (R34 perhaps) or one of the Audi R8 models :dopey:

Edit: As far as the GT5 vs GT6 Aero figures I think I remember comparing them at the start, and for most of the tuners/ race cats at least, the GT6 figure is 10x what is was in GT5. In 5 it was set as level 45/60, where as in 6 we get 460/600 kgs for example

I think the R34 does indeed have a factory-adjustable wing.

This is fine, except indirectly it means the GT Auto wings have become 1/10th as effective as previously. Their downforce range hasn't changed.

Edit: In other news, will have a 550/SS Integra to post soonish, still trying to find at least a comfortable 1:29 from it. It'd probably be there if I could use manual at the moment and short-shift in a few places, but alas, I have a minimum of another few weeks in a cast.

May finish up the Skyline 370GT if anyone's interested, though I think even on RHs it's no faster than my RX-7 at 535 (with it at 550).

Gimme ideas, people. I'd like to put some stuff out that people are actually excited to test.

I don't think so, I think the ones that are in 5-20 (adjusted 1kg at a time) scale are still the same as before, the rest I could only explain as adding in another digit in there to be able to fine tune the higher range wings a bit better by being able to adjust them in1kg instead of 10kg increments . I could be wrong, that's just how I've always read it :crazy:. They did the same with the spring rates too :)

Post 'em up. Its not really a competition so having more of a variety is what it's about. I have a few in the works but they need some more testing. Always good to have more to choose from.
 
Righteo. I have downloaded the track from @Otaliema and first off, great work! I love that track layout you created on Eifel. :)

My first tune has been created for this CoTM and will be uploaded ASAP. I went for a beasty Nissan GT-R Black Edition '12 with a full racing kit. Will find a few more cars from my garage which can be altered to fit the bill too. Great car list indeed. :)

550PP/SS ITR is up. Should do well in basically anyone's hands, turned out better than expected. Not endlessly adjustable but has extremely strong corner exit for a FWD, particularly if you can toe the line of traction. If you can't, no big deal, it's not much slower spinning its way out (though I suspect tire wear would be somewhat atrocious doing so with it on).

Yeah bud, that's one of them 👍 And thanks :) there's at least two more that are on this months list I've got in there somewhere (I think an R32 Skyline and a BRZ) possibly a couple more too. Should have them up this week 👍

I've also been working on a few others using a slightly different method for a little while :mischievous:, time permitting I'll try and add some of them too. I've got Both Skylines, both Nissan Zs an S2K 06 (possibly 2) and my third attempt at an NSX 02 :D all just needing some tweaks. Tried a few of them with flat floors over the weekend in some career races and they don't seem too bad :dopey:
