All the countries?

Hi guys,

So do you think Polyphony is gonna put all the countries this time? I’m from Algeria and it’s just not right for me to use the flag of another country that I have nothing to do with (and I’m pretty sure a lot of others share the same opinion)….

If you think that it's not a big deal, just imagine if you had to use the flag of my country instead of yours. : )

I agree with you, even though i am from the UK, so it's likely that it is one of those flags that is always in a game. I think it's 100% right that you should be able to choose your own Nation's flag too. Seems odd to not include them all to be honest, seeing as it is probably a couple of hours of someone's time there to just load in a bunch of tiny flag images and associate each of them with the relevant Nation's name.

I think in this game you can now select your own flags, like the press day leaks that show how you will start your career by giving your name, custom online handle, favourite manufacturer, and nationality. Flags were limited to supported PSN regions before but there has been proof that more flags are available to use (Ecuador getting PSN support not too long ago made it possible to use the Ecuador flag in GT6). Flags used for the GT Academy regions that aren't supported by PSN are also made available too. Non-PSN countries like Vietnam is a Scape location for GTS Photo Travel. FIA Gran Turismo License has support from the Philippines (GT Academy Asia's winner is Filipino), so I like to hope all flags can be used.

Ultimately this is an SEN issue, not a PD issue - if SEN does not support the nation specifically, the flag is not available.

And then there's the issue of the flag of Taiwan...
