The Euro Challenge is a multi-class sprint racing series, formed from the original ASRS concept. The aim is to provide a level ground for a wide variety of GT cars, touring cars and silhouettes.

Race schedule

Free Practice - 30 minutes
Qualifying - 20 minutes
Feature race - set to a distance taking approximately 60 minutes.

The feature race will incorporate one mandatory stop for all cars.

Car information

The class structure in the Euro Challenge is unique, in that it encourages full race cars to compete on an equal level against converted road cars. This is achieved through a balance of performance system.

The series is split into 2 classes, which then break down into four sub-classes -

GT Class:

GT - FIA GT3/GT2 class race cars, performance capped in line with the BOP.

GT-A - Road based race vehicles modified to be race ready. Whilst being slightly heavier than their GT counterparts, they compensate in having a larger power output.

TC Class:

TC - Coupe and sports car based touring cars, built upon road cars.

TC-A - Small hatchback and saloon based touring cars, built upon road cars.

It is worth noting that both sub classes in a class use a BOP system to compete against each other.

It has several layers of appeal. I'm sure many are still to be found.

I'll drive 1 or 2 from each of the Supercar classes.

Namely:

Supercar C: Lexus LFA Nurburgring Package/Lexus LFA
Supercar B2: Zonda C12S 7.3
Supercar B1: Ferrari Enzo Ferrari or the Lamborghini Aventador LP-700 4
Supercar A: Pagani Huayra '13/McLaren F1

The real life rule allows purpose built tube frame cars, and other weird things that don't fit the regs, to enter one round per time classed as a OHW. In real life, the car is not eligible for points.

However, since this is for race cars, road cars can be booked a round at a time to compete against race cars. However, these are eligible for points, to encourage people to race.

So.....

I can enter say my LFA for 1 round and it's still eligible for points, but it won't be able to be entered again?

These are the kind of things that can be discussed here, to suit different needs.

The original Clio spot of 7:30 GMT to about 9:30 GMT on Fridays seemed to work well, does that work for you?

Royt then.

In ToCA, how are you on times? Is it possible to squeeze it in pre-race?

BTW that was 19:30 to 21:30 above.

Rather than pick a time and see if you like it, what is the rough timeslot you have?

I am actually fine with the ToCa timeslot, though I'm not doing that either. This would be a good replacement, but I will only be able to race on the weekends, like most other people.

The fact that I only really have one option on times means that a pre-ToCA slot is very likely. Expect maybe 17:00 to 19:00 GMT.
