The Alpina B3 GT3 is based on the regular 3-Series Coupe and it uses a slightly modified version the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six found in Alpina's B3 S Bi-Turbo sedan, coupe and touring models.
The B3 GT3 combines exceptional characteristics and technical features of the Alpina B6 GT3 race car with classic design elements of iconic Alpina automobiles of the past – to the delight of Alpina customers and enthusiasts worldwide.different exhaust system and a titanium rear silencer made by Akrapovic the three-liter unit gains 8 more ponies lifting output to 408-horses at 6,000rpm and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque at 4500 rpm.
Alpina says that the B3 GT3 completes the standard sprint from standstill to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.6 seconds and tops out at 300 km/h (187mph).
