Alternate Liveries

As we know, there are many RMs in the game, but not many alternitive liveries. As a bit of fun, what other liveries (for the same car) would you like to see?

I'd like the Group A R32 in the Gibson red colours of the Aussie Touring Cars of the early 90s. Similarly, the Ford Falcon would look great in Team Shell livery.

Wouldn't mind the 'Vauxhall' Astra to actually be painted in it's BTCC colours, but the car would have to be scaled down performance wise..

The ZR-1 looks vaguely similar to the ALMS corvettes, I like em. The white section in GT5 is black on the ALMS cars, but it's the same general idea.

Sounds like a pi$$week four banger struggling to to a burnout in that video, although I'm sure in real life it's a whole different story.

I was quite dissapointed that all the RM paintjobs were pretty basic and boring, with the possible exception of the Corvettes which look like the real C6.R's. It was great in GT2 as most of the race mod paint jobs would look like real racing cars.

Agreed. GT1 and 2 had great racing models, they were really imaginative and realistic to a degree. Like, the Lancer had the Ralliart and the Impreza had the 555 scheme for example;

These are the sort of racing schemes we wanted PD!

Damn, i remember having a subaru legacy with the black/yellow racing scheme, it was brutal !
I thought that would have the same ones, but it didn't Only 17 Racing Mods, a little poor to a 2010/2011 game i think...

That is a DBR9 not a DBR9S they are two very different cars;

DBR9 is a gt1 spec car and is the one that went round top gear


The DBR9S is a gt3 spec car and is much deeper sounding than the DBR9

You can get Gulf livery with the GT40, but if you're going to include a classic Porsche Le Mans challenger, it has to be Martini Racing.

No kidding. While the many liveries of GT2 would almost make me happy, I have to say that Forza has spoiled me on how easy it is to either duplicate just about any race car in history, or create my own unique identity.

THIS is why I still find myself playing GT2 every so often. Those RM cars were simply put, awsome! I can see the GTO RM ( and the PUMA GTO ) and LM cars too which is what I was hoping to return in GT5, instead I get 20 different versions of the car, SL and SR models which are no different apart from one has headlight washers. They even brought the maximum power down of the car after you fully mod it compared to GT4 .
Bring back these Liveries at the least PD!

I think PD does plan on adding additional RM liveries for all the current RM cars, or why else would it say race plan 01. Also, it would be cool if the RM actually modified for the various racing series licenses that are in the game. Maybe you can have a NASCAR RM, a Super GT RM, a DTM RM, WRC RM etc.
