I need help winning this race. Right now I have an Altezza RS200 with 450 HP but cant seem to win. Its the only race I need to win the Amateur league. I know this is sad but I need help. Any sugguestions to make my car win this thing? Or should I but the Lexus car? Thanks

No, the Altezza is better. Welcome to GTPlanet, leppy.

You have 450 hp, but what else do you have? How is that power getting to the ground? Tha Altezza tends to slide around a bit, so maybe consider dropping some power and improving your handling.

Also, try a search of the main GT3 board (which will also include the Settings and Writeups boards. Put "amateur altezza" in the box, limit it to subjects only, and see what turns up.

I have everything you can buy for the car. And in some cases 2 of everything like the turbo level 2 and 3 (or whatever the highest is). What kinds of settings should I put it at. And when I switch off of turbo and select something else (sorry Im not in front of my ps2) then my HP goes up and down depending on what I select. HELP!!!!!

OK I found it somewhere else, I have all the NA and Turbo but I Can only use 1, which should I use? Like I said before I bought everything else already. I also read here that I should change my ASM to 0 and TCS to 1, does anyone agree with this? Also it said to lower my car half way and to double my spring rates too? I'll try that when I get home.

Well, close on the lowering, but not quite. You need to figure out the percentages. For instance, say the car has an 80mm ride height, and you lower it to 72mm. You have lowered it by 8mm, or 10% of the ride height. Then you have to increase the spring rate by the same 10%.

This is really just a rule of thumb, but it's a good start. When I get a chance I'll look up my Altezza settings and post them.
