I pre-ordered the 15th Anniversary edition at GameStop here in the US, and picked it up today, the code for the Anniversary cars came inside the package, but it said nothing about a million in-game credits. I checked the receipt, no code there either. Is this a Amazon exclusive? The code worked, and I got the cars, suit, racing helmet and Avatars, but no credits.

For some people it works, for some it doesn't. I preordered the special edition on PSN, which said it'd include 1 million in-game currency. After installing the game and the 1.01 patch it's still not there, while the rest of my promised stuff is there. There's a few topics out there about it.

The Million is on the code with the cars !! I`ve got the million .
For the physical game in the EU. tigerzebra is in the USA and it's not included in their Anniversary Edition.

The EU PSN version does not contain the 1 million credits.
I got my pre-orded GT6 15th Anniversary edition EB game shop with 1 million cr. You are wrong saying that is only from Amazon.com.
For the physical game in Australia. Amazon.com operates in the USA and are the only retailer in the USA offering the 1m credit bonus (for the Standard version - they don't sell the Anniversary) which isn't included in the US physical game.

Um, we're talking about U.S.A here, only amazon has 1,000,000.

Well, then I should go to a doctor to get my eyes checked. Up until December 3rd or so both the PSN store on console and on the site itself said my order contained 1 million credits. Then this morning when I checked if it was in my download list it magically vanished from the game's description.

It hasn't changed. I checked it (that very link - can't say for what it said on the PS3 version of SEN store) when I was writing the article on preorder bonuses 3 weeks ago.

I'm going to take a bet someone lazy at Sony messed it up for the Dutch site, then. Not that I need someone to vouch for me, but I've shown the game description to a couple of my friends and family members. They've seen what I've seen.

Oh well. I said it before. With 20 free cars, 1 million credits is small change. Just a little bit annoyed I'm missing out on something I was supposedly promised.

Famine-GTPlanet guide to pre order bonuses
all 15th Anniversary Edition pre-orders worldwide (except Japan) come with all five car packs – 25 additional cars in total, along with the 1m credit starter fund, and a set of custom paint chips, custom race suits, custom helmets and PSN avatars.

What?
Gamestop US absolutely promised a 1mil starter pack, and I for one, certainly didn't get mine. (I verified it on the website, and even linked it to friends in the FITT thread. Page advertising bonuses at Gamestop has been taken down, of course)

The middle post you quote there refers to the EU PSN Anniversary preorder - not the US disc copy...

From what I remember of Gamestop's Anniversary edition post, they did indeed offer the 1 million credits - but it was a very confusing state of affairs.

What they were actually selling was the Standard Edition - but as a preorder bonus for the Standard Edition you got a free upgrade to the Anniversary Edition... or rather an Anniversary Edition, consisting of boxart, the 20 15AE cars and gears/paint/avatar bonus. I'm pretty sure the 1m credits was on there, but I don't recall if the Precision Pack was.

Now the game is out and there are no preorders, they only sell the Standard Edition.

Amazon were only ever selling the Standard Edition, with a 1m credit bonus. Apparently this was only for preorders - they now only sell the Standard Edition - so it looks like no retailers in the USA include the 1m bonus now. Meanwhile (physical copy) Anniversary Edition buyers in Europe still get it off the shelf...

The USA kinda got stiffed on content this time around.

Ah, ok.

I don't know, I can only say what it said a week ago for sure.(US site) In plain writing it mentioned everything I did get, and 1 million credits, which I did not get. (It has an Anniversary cover and was pre ordered)
Also it's 25 cars.

I'm going to have to complain to both Sony and Gamestop about this, but I have to say the game is making it hard to care. :)

I just redeemed my code through sonyentertainmentnetwork.com, No mention of 1 million credits at all :( I remember reading over a month ago that Gamestop pre-orders would get the million.

And same here. I called game stop and got the runaround. They said it was in the box. Nope- only the anniversary code.

The 25 Anniversary cars is a much better deal and if you really wanted to you can still purchase 1M in credits. But if you opted to not preorder the Anniversary edition though GameStop then your out of luck.
