Amazing car liveries, but helmets so disappointing

The car liveries people have created are absolutely amazing! I never would have thought some of those were even possible.
Since I am no where near as artistic as those people, I thought I give a shot at recreating Gilles Villeneuve's helmet design, which is relatively simple... but I was quite disappointed to find that the helmets cannot be customized except by changing the colours of the predetermined patterns... no decals and only the standard colours -- none of the special colours can be used.

I completely agree. I got really excited to make my own Senna helmet at first, until I found out I can't add decals on helmets.
