I use camelcamelcamel dot com to track deals on Amazon USA, and this popped up before my free trial expired, so for me, the timing was perfect

It's a digital code that can be applied via browser or via the PS4
 
a great deal indeed, it’s a shame PSN is region locked so all of us in Europe wouldn’t be able to take advantage of it.

Are you sure? It just gives you a code which anyone can then use. Even someone ohter than the original buyer.

Yep, that's what I thought, but it seems like Sony are not on the same page here. It turns out that every region has its specific PSN codes which are bound to the account, so an EU account can't use PSN code bought from the US for example ( here is one thread on the same topic : )


P.S. I would be really happy if I'm not right about this :)

Yes but as long your PS4 is primary for that US account, you'll be able to play online on any account.
 
I just bought my year subscription last month, so I'm good till October 2018.

Does anyone know if I bought it again at this sale price if it would extend my subscription till October 2019?

I believe so. I seem to recall someone taking advantage of an erronous sale price to extend their PS Plus subscription to 2026+ for super cheap.

You can create a 2nd account on your ps4 and give it a US address(I use my favourite NBA teams home arena address). Enable your ps4 as the new accounts primary console.
Now your main account will have access to multiplayer access at the cheaper rate.
Only thing you'll miss is the psplus free game library that you may have already acquired so far on your main as you'll have to start fresh with the 2nd account if you're into that sort of thing.

UK people can use cdkeys.com, its £39.79 there.

If you go to their facebook page and click like you get 5% off too.

Looks like they do some euro countries too, but I'm not sure how prices compare.

Yeah, I already had at least another year left on mine because it I bought when it went down to 50 bucks recently and I bought one of these as well because I ahve never seen it for 40 bucks.

Yes, your expiration date will extend for another year past your current expiration date.
 
Just purchased mine from Amazon for $39.99 plus the $2.63 equals a total to $42.63 for a whole year of PS Plus. Very happy.
