American & European Drifting Tribute

I spend many hours trying to do this video and i finally done it, it take me about a week to do the drifting and then 1 hours recording the videos into my computer and 2 hours making the videos, i know im slow but i got it done finally. Its all American cars and European cars, there is not a lot of your favorite cars there but i just do the ones that i feel like driving it. I forgot about the corvette so you wont be seeing corvettes. I hope you guys like it and have fun watching it.

The Video is 7.36 MB

Please give comments wheather you like it or not.

Nice video, Nice Choice of music, i just wish that you could buy a converter or something to make the ps2 resolution better for the computer. If anybody from Sony is reading this, MAKE PS3 HAVE A CONVERTER FOR THE COMPUTER.

Thanks, as you can see, i use a lot of E-braking to clear short corners like the Code De Azur track. I'm beginning to like that track. Just Hoping my work pays off thats all.

I did notice you used the e-brake, but it looked good. Like when you were in the white car (I dont remeber what it was  ) and you came from the tunnel on Cote, and held the drift out until like | | far from the wall. Nice. 👍

E-braking on Monaco?

What are your settings? I don't think you need to really need to e-brake on Monaco.

HAHAHA it was the Mercedese Benz, i did that on accident, so when i watch it again, i was like, oh ****, its got to be put in the vids. the music was by Boysetsfires - Management vs Labor, my friend at school gave it to me, so i decided that it was a good music sinces its American and European, its not japanese tribute so no Initial D music. hahahaha

Elvis, humm hahahaha, anyways hey THIO, i know you dont need to e-brake but its like i drive with super soft, you know it wont drift that much, so by e-braking, it makes it turn faster i think.

Very nice stuff. im happy to see someone step away from the ae86's and the rx7's and pull out the rgt's and the zo6's.
and i definantly like the music. i like the rock better than the japanese techno dance stuff.

:) :) :)

it was cool video man. great job. but there was a lot of e-braking and even if I have super-softs on my car, I don't need to e-brake, I depend on my skills and the setup and just use the foot brake. you are getting better man, just keep playing. peace.

Good job Night!!!!!! I did see a Vette Z06 (a yellow one) in there somewhere. I just made my first solo vid not too long ago, and have one question for ya......
I got some comments on how my countersteer "looked bad / sloppy." Currently, I'm using a controller. Any advice on how to correct this "countersteer problem?"

I guess I'm taking more notice of countersteer since I recieved those comments.....that's why I'm asking. Hope you can help.

I do use a lot of e-brake because i go kind of slow on the turns, those are like my 5 times racing on Monaco, so i dont really know when to turn or what speed im suppose to go in the turn. So i went kind of slow and use the e-brake, i dont have to use e-brake if i was fast, but i just need to get use of driving in Monaco, because that track has cool replay and good to drift and weight shift.

Humm to tell you the truth, i forgot or dont know what countersteer or understeer really means, hahaha im sorry. For my settings, i just set normally like how i set my silvia's. I use the same settings to all the cars. My corvette cant really drift that much, plus all the drift cars that is in the video, i use SS front and Medium Slick back. the front grips and the back slide. Its kind of like hard to tell you the settings of my Z06, maybe i should just PM you when the settings with i finish setting writing it down, if you wanna try it because its kind of like hard. I'm also using a controller also and by making my wheels tilted diagnal, it makes me look like im turning fully plus making my front tire loose and its slippery and easier to drift, just like how the D1 drivers set up their wheels tilted sideways. (i think im right)

HaHa! "Demon Camber"!!!!!! I'll try that........I've also been experementing with tires too, so I'll try your settings. Thanx a mil.

Hey you can also use my settings that i posted on this GT3 drifting thread, about the 240sx Fastback Type X, those are the same settings i use with the Z06, just make the back tires medium, if you cant drift with it, i'll give you my new settings, oh and plus if you make the TCS and ASM all 0, then its going to be more harder to drift with medium and SS front. Because the tire will spin so much, its so easy to spin out. Try 0,1 like how it is. Well thats how i do, so just mess around with it.

NICE!! Great Job! i love your Mercedes drifting Cote D'azur!! and......how did you do the harpin curve of Cote D'azur? im so impress.

i dont know how i do it, but it was an accident, and by using E-brake i guess. Thanks for the comments.

I love the AMG Benz and the BMW the best. Those cars just look awesome with the rim selection and color! The RUF is a good favorite of mine as well.

Can you PM me with those settings??? I found some settings for a real-life drift car (the JIC-Ziel Motorsports S13) and followed its tuning as closely as I could with the 240sx type-x (it has the same engine and chassis code as the drifter....S13/SR20DET).....pieced together the rest from prior experience as a mechanic. I had a helluva time trying to drift with it. If you want to put heads together, I'll get you those settings, as far as I got.
