This is my 3k tune for the viper:

Spring rates: 18.0Front 7.5Rear
Dampers extension: 3Front 3Rear
Dampers compression: 3Front 3Rear
Anti-Roll bars: 6Front 6Rear
Camber: 0.0Front 0.0Rear
Toe: -0.45Front 0.50Rear

Transmission:
Flip the tranny at 4.190 with 6th gear full right and final at 2.000.

Gears:
1st: 3.133
2nd: 2.490
3rd: 1.987
4th: full right
5th: full right
6th: full right

Please test and provide feedback if possible. Thanks

by looking at it there are many suspension changes i would make. front camber, bit more rear toe and more negative front toe.

This is a 3k tune.

lol sorry for my not even seeing that... i see... for a 3k suspension so the extent of my knowladge i looks correct. i know a bit of 3k stuff but not much... i just know what looks right and what dosnt. i couldnt tell you exactly what to fix, i know dr slump is pretty good, as is d2 and suraj

Suppose a decent way to judge it would be its trap speed? I think most vipers trap around > 250+mph at 3K... I dont know a thing about 3K tuning though but I know my VIPER will hit 250mph at the 3K mark...

Sometimes its not how fast you are when your there but how fast you get there.

I know some 248 247 vipers that get a really good launch and beats others that trap 1-2 miles higher. Sure they pull back but sometimes its too late.

Finding the balance is key or some people say getting a "good tree"

I have only tuned my Viper GTS '02 for the 3K. 240 something, cant genuinely recall ATM. Ive gotten to liking the 3K drags, I even like running 1K drags too. I like my Jag XKR in 1K.

Exactly.

I ran my 251 MPH Viper Tune vs Alphas 247MPH tune... both crossed the line dead even @ "approx" 35.0 seconds.

His tune has a much better launch and will hit 1K 0.300 seconds quicker, but then he hits 2K 0.100 seconds ahead... by the time 3K comes it was literally 0.000 seconds difference. I'd be good to race in person, as the tree would literally make the difference... I didn't think reactions would play as huge as huge a part in 3K but it does 👍

This is my 3k tune for the viper:

Suspension:
Ride height: +40Front +40 Rear Rear slighty lower.... wait, cause I have a good day, not under 30.
Spring rates: 18.0Front 7.5Rear 7.5 is the minumum? Can't remember...
Dampers extension: 3Front 3Rear
Dampers compression: 3Front 3Rear
Anti-Roll bars: 6Front 6Rear
Camber: 0.0Front 0.0Rear I like to have a bit front camber
Toe: -0.45Front 0.50Rear ACR doesn't need that much

Transmission:
Flip the tranny at 4.190 with 6th gear full right and final at 2.000. Too lazy to check, what's the tranny topspeed?

Gears:
1st: 3.133 all the way left?
2nd: 2.490
3rd: 1.987
4th: full right not all the way right, more like 9
5th: full right
6th: full right

Please test and provide feedback if possible. Thanks
I hope you bought no aftermarket wing, cause that would change all.

Ill test it for you, it looks good but toe is not needed really, on any car. I've never used toe on any 3k in my eyes its more beneficial on 1/4 for a better launch where mid and top end aren't needed but each to there own, ill give it a shot later on, but maybe bump up the top speed to 280 ish

Isn't that backwards ? I always thought the wing killed the top speed

There is a select few cars that work with wings that we call aero tuned. From memorie the ACR the no stripe the cien the mclaren F1 the speed 12 and a few others can do it. But not all cars.

Well that would explain why I could never get my ACR very good back when I dabbled in tunnel tuning. Thanks for the info.
