Amuse Carbon R

i have a problem with the gears on this car, when i spin out of control and have to start of again the car doesn't acceleate like it does at the start line at the beginning off the race! pls help me cus i like the look of this car but this is the one thing wrong with it!!!!!!! :ouch:

Yes, that stops the car from moving before you get the revs into the powerband, but throwing her into neutral does it better because you don't need to stop. You don't need to redline her, in fact that'll just wear out the engine, take her up to about 5000rpm and you're off. Fast.

I have PAL too, and it turns out you can't... Oops. Sorry people :dunce: dunno where the idea came from probably from real-life driving!

Alternately, seeing as it's a mostly RWD car under most settings you could just hit the handbrake and floor the throttle, this gets the revs up nicely without needing to stop ;)!

Yeah I know you can lose lots of speed doing it but cornering! It's great doing it while cornering!

**Coming up fast to the Mulsanne end corner, hard on the brakes with the car slewing left and right under the power of the discs, slam the wheel hard over to the right... I'm not gonna make it, I'm running too wide, I'm headin for the kitty litter, that R92 is gonna overtake me if I run off... Suddenly, I find O. The car snaps round, the back end screeches out and I'm going full on 90-degrees around the corner, countersteer with the power back on and we're away!**. <-Awesome replay too

Anyway, the original problem was when you spin out and need revs so handbrake works.

You can actually kind of get the car into neutral, not a reall neutral, but enough i guess, just tap the e-brake, and the rpm will drop nd the car will sort of be off, shift up, and hit the gas.. well that probably wont work very well, but you can experiment with it to make it work your way.

yeah, do like everyone else says. hold the e brake until it redlines and take off. and no. this isnt like putting it in nuetral.

how exactly is taking a car out of gear and revving it NOT like putting it in neutral???

see your gear display number - when it is greyed out - you are not in gear...
