This car has been a lot of fun to drive and tune up. For a FR car, it handles really, really well. I don't have any issues with understeer in this car, and I was able to have it very well balanced by the time I was finally finished setting it to my liking.

*Please Note That I Tuned This Car in the Lounge Area Specifically for Online 'Physics', and That it May Handle Slightly Different in Offline Races*

Amuse S2000 R1 '04 (purchased in the UCD)

Displacement: 1997cc
Max. Power: 404hp/8400rpm
Max. Torque: 252ft-lb/8400rpm
Drivetrain: FR
Length: 4154mm
Width: 1750mm
Height: 1285mm
Weight: 1120kg

*Engine: Stage 2 only (all other removable upgrades installed)

Aero: N/A
Trans: 180mph (for Nordschleife)
LSD: 25/49/42
Height: -14/-10
Springs: 12.5/13.0
Ext: 6/6
Com: 5/6
Roll: 3/4
Camber: -4.0/-4.5
Toe: 0.00/+0.25
Brakes: 6/2

*Note that the camber settings are what came with the stock suspension (fully customizable). The car felt good from the start and I didn't feel the need to adjust these in the end.*

This car has easily made it's way to my favorites list for online racing, and I declined the stage 3 engine upgrade just so that I could race with it at the 404hp limit. I foresee many online victories at Nordschleife with this very balanced machine. In practice I ran a 6:50:422 with room to improve.

Hope you enjoy the tune!

This was my favorite car in GT4. Thanks for the setup! 👍 I'll give it a try online tomorrow.

Any chance you can do the Amemiya RX-7 too?

Good tune dude fits my style perfect i ran it round the ring at 7:00ish with stage 3 engine at 420 hp (not broke it at all yet) 1 spin out definitely room to improve, just wish the car had a bit more downforce, it jumps alot. lol

Yeah, I think I adjusted to it after 6 hours of tuning... :) This was as soft as I could keep the suspension and still get it to handle corners the way I wanted. I also know Nurb like the back of my hand so I anticipated a few spots where I knew the car would try to jump. Glad it worked for you, now don't you be going online and kicking my butt with my own setup! :)

Not trying to sound like a jerk but likely not. I'm in grad. school and teaching as well, so I really have to be selective with my tunes because I spend so much time setting them up. Here is a list of the cars I plan on tuning next:

Lancer Evo (race mod)
Impreza WRX (race mod)
Super Autobacs Apex (GT 300)
Cusco Impreza '08 (already done, but might modify for online setup)
Impreza Rally Car Prototype '01
Lancer Evo VI Rally Car '99
Impreza Super Touring Car (online setup)
Cusco Impreza '03
BMW V12 LMR Race Car '99
Altezza Touring Car

I spent 6 hours on this last tune, and that's pretty average for something that I'd put my name next to and post it online. So it might take a minute to get to all of these... :) I have several that are really good already that I've tuned in between races in online lobbies but I'd have to refine them. Some may go faster than others because of this. I've also just been trying to focus on putting out tunes rather than racing.

No problem... if anything, people like me who come in to these tuning threads and start posting requests are the ones that sound like jerks. :embarrassed:

As for the R1 setup... I didn't do the turbo upgrades so it maxed out at 360hp. I went looking for 350 hp ring rooms and won first time out with it. :dopey: The car is just point and shoot much like its newer big brother GT1. I did notice that it rode the curbs really well... especially the first few corners right before the first climb so you must have spent a lot of time on it. Thanks again for sharing. 👍
