Nicest part of hell
Just bought one and the car really puzzles me, the feels like deliberately disabeld by PD.

The engine, thundering 630hp+, 671,xx nm, turbocharged. First the rear wheel spins from power, after wheelspin stops the car accelerates like a 400hp engine. - Right, thats from the turbo spooling up.- and then....5000.... 6000 rpm - REDLINE, Turbo should give engine around 600 hp but it still feels like a 400 hp engine, no real turbo kick-in.

Right, the cars is equipped with a rearspoiler and a pretty big front spoiler which if you take a look at it should give the car a decent amount of downforce.

No.

Of course the giant rear wing even with a decent angle gives no downforce at all and is of course not adjustable. Same with the front spoiler, it helps to keep the airflow over the car so the low air pressure under the car should produce some downforce.

No. No downforce at all.

Car totally messed up from PD, reminds me a bit of the super slow shifting Peugeot 908 which was als screwed up from PD. I think PD does not like Peugeot or Amuses.

Just tune your own S2000, it'll be faster.

I think the tuner cars are just supposed to be bought and driven in GT4, sorta like pre-tuned cars. I have every Amuse car, and I can safely say I could make a better car out of a normal S2000 and R34 myself.

Iam sorry, I mean the Carbon R.:ouch: I Always mix them.

But yes, the Titan feels the same. Lots of power on the sheet, but not on the street.

I have every Amuse car, and I can safely say I could make a better car out of a normal S2000 and R34 myself.

Thats true, you can at least give your tuned cars downforce.

This is only a recent discovery for me, but apparently, in a lot of cases, especially on cars that have inbuilt rear wings that can't be replaced, PD has programmed in downforce figures that you can't see, that people have only discovered by delving into the programming on PC ported versions of the game. Many of the tuner cars are like this.

Think of it this way - you buy an '89 R32 GTR. In the settings menu, there are no downforce figures because you haven't bought a wing. Now, you go buy a wing and go back to the settings menu and go to add your downforce and - shock and awe! - there's already '2' in the rear downforce field. That downforce was there before, but you couldn't see it since you didn't have an adjustable wing.

The tuner cars are often like this. Take for example the Amuse S2000 GT1 - its wing can't be replaced, but the game programming gives it 17f/40r downforce.

remember the original game warning, from the original GT?

"Cars Included in this game may differ from real life in shapes, performance and colors..."

The Superbird is about right. The gigantwing X2000 wasn't for downforce. It was the side pillars that made all the difference.

wow.., what a list.., you surely have put some effort in there.., good job.., 👍

Digging those up was just slow as 🤬
All I did was "enter" those cars in their stock form and reading their downforce levels with a memory editor, it took couple hours though..

i love the amuse street version. 452 hp. mine runs super super consistent 10.0's in the 1/4 mile with no traction aids, and handle pretty darn well for being setup for drag racing. try that car. its fun
